"80 Million" Awards Nomination

80 milionów (80 Million) by Waldemar Krzystek has been nominated for the 60th Golden Reel Awards for best sound in film and television.

The Golden Reel Awards have been presented annually since 1953 by the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) Association.

80 Million was nominated in the category of Best Sound Editing: Sound Effects, Foley, Dialogue and ADR in a Feature Foreign Language Film alongside five other films. Other nominees include Amour by Michael Haneke and Intouchables by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano.

The sound edit on 80 Million was done by the Warsaw-based Dreamsound studio. The film was produced by mediabrigade and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

The awards ceremony will be held on February 17 in Los Angeles.
