Award for Dorota Kędzierzawska

Dorota Kędzierzawska received the Ibis Award for contribution to European cinema at the 4th Cinema City Film Festival in Novy Sad, Serbia.

 

Dorota Kędzierzawka’s latest feature Jutro będzie lepiej (Tomorrow Will Be Better) screened as the festival’s opening film. The event also featured a retrospective of her works, including Diabły, diabły (Devils, Devils), Wrony (Crows), Nic (Nothing), Jestem (I Am), and Pora umierać (Time to Die). The CineYouth programme included a panel discussion focused on the director: Let’s talk about: Dorota Kędzierzawska. Panelists included Dorota Kędzierzawska, Arthur Reinhart, Dubravka Lakić, Sergey Lavrentyev, Blagoja Kunovski, and Weronika Cisłowska.

 

The festival runs through June 25.
