"Courage" Premieres in Busan

Courage

Wymyk (Courage)

The international premiere of Wymyk (Courage) by Greg Zglinski will take place at the Busan International Film Festival, one of the top film events in Asia. Courage is featured in the lineup of the Flash Forward competition section that focuses on films by first- and second-time directors from outside Asia. At last year’s festival, special mention of the jury in the Flash Forward section went to Erratum by Marek Lechki.

Courage is the story of Alfred and Jerzy – two brothers who witness a brutal incident on a local train. Alfred becomes the passive witness of the tragedy that falls upon his younger brother.

Zglinski’s film premiered at this year’s Gdynia Film Festival, winning awards for best first-time director, best screenplay (Janusz Margański and Greg Zglinski), and best supporting actress (Gabriela Muskała).

The 16th Busan International Film Festival in South Korea will run from October 6 through 14.
