"SCAFFOLDING" Nominated FOR ISRAELI FILM ACADEMY AWARDS
Scaffolding, an international co-production co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, received a total of eight nominations for the awards of the Israeli Film Academy.

Powidoki (Afterimage), a film directed by Andrzej Wajda and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute was released theatrically in Brazil on August 17, 2017.

POLISH FILMS AT 41ST WORLD IFF IN MONTREAL
The lineup of the 41st World Film Festival in Montreal features two films co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.Maciej Sobieszczański's featue debut Zgoda (The Reconciliation) will screen in Main Competition, while Syn Królowej Śniegu (The Son of the Snow Queen) by Robert Wichrowski screens in the Focus on World Cinema section.
"Communion" in the running for European Film Award
Komunia (Communion), a documentary film directed by Anna Zamecka has been selected as one of the best documentaries of the year and is in the running for nominations for the European Film Awards.
"Spoor" in Cinemas in Norway
Pokot (Spoor), a film directed by Agnieszka Holland and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, will be released theatrically in Norway on August 18, 2017.
Entries To The 2nd Edition Of Future Docs
From now on, documentary filmmakers and human rights defenders can submit their applications to the 2017-2018 edition of Future Docs. The focus of this year’s edition of the project are Nordic and Baltic countries as well as Central Europe.

W cieniu drzewa (Under the Tree / Undir Trenu), an Icelandic-Polish-Danish co-production directed by Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, has been selected to screen in the Orrizonti section of the Venice International Film Festival.
World premiere of "The Prince and the Dybbuk" at the 74th Venice IFF
Książę i dybuk (The Prince and the Dybbuk) by Elwira Niewiera and Piotr Rosołowski, will have its world premiere at the 74th Venice International Film Festival.

Michał Marczak's Wszystkie nieprzespane noce (All These Sleepless Nights), co-financed by the Polish Film Institute and awarded at Sundance, was released theatrically in Romania on July 28, 2017.
