Call for submissions: New Horizons International Competition

The 17th edition of the T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival will take place in Wrocław, from 3rd to 13th August 2017. The New Horizons International Competition — a platform where artistic cinema that extend the boundaries set by conventional filmmakers is presented — remains the core element of the festival.

December 10, 2016 marked the 29th European Film Awards ceremony in Wrocław. The award for European Sound Designer 2016 went to Radosław Ochnio. The People's Choice Award went to Body/Ciało (Body).

Filmförderungsanstalt is the new partner of the Polish-German Film Fund

On 9 December 2016, representatives of the institutions participating in the Polish-German Film Fund: Magdalena Sroka (PFI); Peter Dinges (FFA); Kirsten Niehuus (Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg) and Claas Danielsen (MDM), signed an agreement on cooperation within the framework of the Polish-German Film Fund.
