Antoniak's Latest Film Wraps

The Krakow-based filming of Strefa nagości (Nude Area), the latest film by Urszula Antoniak, has come to a wrap. The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

Strefa nagości (Nude Area) is the story of two teenage girls and their mutual fascination and attraction. “Nude Area will be a film about the art of seduction. This film is an emotional chess game,” says Urszula Antoniak about her latest film.

Polish-Dutch Co-Production Supported by Polish Film Institute

Strefa nagości (Nude Area) is a co-production between Poland and the Netherlands. The film is produced jointly by Apple Film Production and Topkapi Films, and co-produced by Canal+ Polska. Piotr Sobociński Jr. is the director of photography. The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute and the Netherlands Film Fund.

 

Filming took place in the Netherlands and in Poland (in Warsaw and Krakow). Nude Area was made in co-operation with the Krakow Film Commission.

Urszula Antoniak

Urszula Antoniak is a multiple-award winning Polish director based in the Netherlands. Nude Area marks her third feature film. Her first picture Nic osobistego (Nothing Personal; 2009) received a number of film awards, including one at the Locarno Film Festival, and was nominated for the European Film Awards. Her second feature Code Blue, made in 2011, screened in the Director’s Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival.
