Exhibition "100 Years of Polish Cinema: 1908-2008" in Berlin

An outdoor exhibition titled “100 years of Polish cinema: 1908-2008,” a history of Polish cinematography recounted by shoots from the most important films, fragments of old reviews and film dialogues, went on display near the Polish Institute in Berlin.


The exhibition was accompanied by an album and website www.100latpolskiegofilmu.pl, which contain photographs and lectures about the history of Polish cinema by the famous critic and film theorist Rafał Marszałek. The exhibition will also be displayed in Munich, Düsseldorf and Toronto.

The exhibition was prepared by the Polish Film Institute in cooperation with the Museum of Cinematography in Łódź and the National Archives. Natalia Chojna is the exhibition’s custodian.
