Vision Film Distribution was established in 1991 and focuses mainly on the distribution of films to cinemas and on VHS, sales of television rights, and production of Polish films and international co-productions. The company distributed American, European and Polish features, including Shine, Life is Beautiful, The Cider House Rules, Gosford Park, Monster's Ball, Adaptation, The Day of the Wacko and The Welts. Apart from arthouse productions, Vision handles mainly Polish productions (e.g. In Desert and Wilderness, The Revenge, Pan Tadeusz) and a number of major Hollywood films (e.g. Leon the Cleaner, The English Patient, The Fifth Element). The Vision company has taken part in over 20 co-productions, including Sara, Demony wojny wg Goi, Pan Tadeusz, Prawo ojca, Pierwszy milion, Wiedźmin, The Day of the Wacko, Kariera Nikosia Dyzmy and Insatiability. In 2006 the company released the following titles: The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey, Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker, Stoned, Cake and the Polish film We're All Christs. 2007 brought the release of two more Polish features: God's Little Garden and Jak żyć?, also co-produced by Vision. Releases of 2008 include three new Polish features: Senność and two projects co-produced by Vision Film, Pora mroku and Nieruchomy poruszyciel.
