PAISA FILMS is a production company, established in 2005 by the director Maciej Ślesicki. It deals with a wide spectrum of activities: from project development, pre-production, casting and principal photography to post-production for features, documentaries, commercials and animated films. PAISA FILMS is dedicated to promoting Polish young and talented moviemakers, actors and movie technicians and this mission is being implemented through the Czas Młodych! (Youth Now!) patronage program. PAISA FILMS was the main Polish partner in the international co-production of Volker Schlöndorff's Strike and recently released its latest production Rezerwat (Preserve) – the most acclaimed Polish movie debut in years. PAISA's current productions include Jeż Jerzy feature-length animation. Recently PAISA produced two films by up-and-coming filmmakers – Manna by Hubert Gotkowski and Zgorszenie publiczne, a romantic comedy set in Silesia and directedy by Maciej Prykowski. The production of a trilogy called Trzy minuty and directed by Maciej Ślesicki was also launched. In addition, PAISA FILMS holds an annual script competition and closely cooperates with the Warszawska Szkola Filmowa (Warsaw Film School).
