KADR is Poland's oldest production company and the place where some of Poland's most prominent film directors had their debut. The company's most recent major motion picture production was Quo Vadis by Jerzy Kawalerowicz. In 2005 and in cooperation with Telewizja Polska (TVP), the company produced the documentary film Laszczka by Krzysztof Wierzbiański. KADR also co-produced Andrzej Seweryn's debut feature Who Never Lived... and Louise's Garden by Maciej Wojtyszko. 2007 also brought the production of the documenary Między prawdą a wyobraźnią by Tadeusz Bystram. Plans for future include the production of another large documentary project.
