A film about Polish pilots who fought in the Battle of Britain. After the outbreak of World War Two, pilot Jan “Donald” Zumbach and heroic flight instructor Witold Urbanowicz are forced to leave their homeland. They both end up in the UK in RAF squadrons, to continue their fight against the Nazis. Their bravery and exceptional skills quickly get the Polish pilots noticed by their commanding officers, thus contributing to the creation of 303 Squadron, an elite group of fighter pilots, comprised mostly of Poles.
