The festival consists of four sections: the Golden Goblet competition, film screenings, a film market and film forum. The festival’s mission is to support the development of world cinema and discover young directors via its New Talent award, presented annually since 2004 to an up-and-coming director from Asia.

The Grand Prize of last year’s edition of the festival went to Carte Blanche, a film by Jacek Lusiński.
