Kulmeet Makkar, CEO of the Producers Guild Of India, has died

Kulmeet Makkar was an architect of recently signed Memorandum of Understanding initiating the co-operation between Polish and Indian film industry.

Kulmeet Makkar was an entertainment industry professional with over 30 years of experience and has served as a head of the Producers Guild of India since 2000. He was very active in the field of policy matters, copyright protection, sector development and forging the new partnerships with other industry associations, film institutions and festivals across the world.

Just recently, at the IIFTC event in Mumbai, PFI General Director Radoslaw Smigulski and Kulmeet Makar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding introducing the co-operation between the Polish and Indian film industry.
