Łoziński’s Films at Doc Alliance

In the last two weeks of April, the Doc Alliance website will have free access to films by Marcel Łoziński, one of the masters of Polish documentary filmmaking, director, screenwriter, and lecturer, whose 89mm od Europy (89mm from Europe) received a European Film Award nomination and an Oscar nomination in 1994.

Doc Alliance is an online platform for distribution of documentary and experimental filmmaking, created by the Doc Alliance initiative for documentary films. It is a partnership between five key European documentary film festivals: CPH:DOX Copenhagen, DOK Leipzig, the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, Planete Doc in Warsaw, and Visions du Reel in Nyon.

Doc Alliance enables unlimited access to 250 extraordinary films, carefully selected by the five partner festivals. Twenty new films appear on the site each month, available for viewing by streaming or download.

On April 18, Doc Alliance will enable access, free of charge, to five films by Marcel Łoziński. The following films will be available until the end of April:

  • 89 mm od Europy (89mm from Europe)
  • Wszystko może się przytrafić (Anything Can Happen)
  • Żeby nie bolało (So It Doesn’t Hurt)
  • Poste Restante
  • Jak to się robi (How It’s Done)

Łoziński’s films at Doc Alliance are presented in partnership with the Andrzej Wajda Master Film School, “Kalejdoskop” Film Studio, and Arkana Studio Dorota Roszkowska.
