New Horizons' Polish Days Goes to Cannes 2021 selection

Five Polish film projects at the production stage were included in the prestigious program Goes to Cannes at the biggest film market, Marché du Film. The New Horizons’ Polish Days Goes to Cannes event is the result of cooperation between the Polish Film Institute and the New Horizons Association.

The Goes to Cannes is a program which invites the most important festivals to present selected films to the international film industry, films that do not yet have agents, distributors or set premiere dates. Thanks to this, they can reach a foreign group of people from the film industry interested in cooperation. The New Horizons International Film Festival for the fifth time was among five selected film events from around the world.

The following projects are among the Polish films selected for this year’s edition in various stages of production (works-in-progress):

• „Fucking Bornholm”, dir. Anna Kazejak, prod. Friends With Benefits Studio

• „Imago”, dir. Olga Chajdas, prod. Apple Film Production

• „Fears”, dir. Łukasz Ronduda & Łukasz Gutt, prod. Serce

• „Inverted”, dir. Jacek Lusiński, prod. Aurum Film

• „Lipstick on the Glass”, dir. Kuba Czekaj, prod. Centrala FILM

New Horizons’ Polish Days Goes to Cannes screening is open for professionals registered at the Marché du Film Online. It will be held on the 9th of July from 12 noon until 2 p.m.
