First prizes at the 27th EnergaCamerimage





On Saturday the 27th edition of the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography EnergaCAMERIMAGE was officially opened in the CKK Jordanki Festival Centre in Toruń. Festival is supported by the Polish Film Institute. 

During the Opening Gala Peter Greenaway received Lifetime Achievement Award for Directing, Danny DeVito accepted the Special Lifetime Achievement Award for Acting, Ewa Dałkowska was honored with the Award for Polish Film Actress and Helena Třeštíková picked up the Award for Outstanding Achievements in Documentary Filmmaking. Kees Van Oostrum accepted the Camerimage Award on behalf of the American Society of Cinematographers on its 100th anniversary, and Marcin Tkaczyk was named the Friend of the Festival.

The Festival also screened “An Officer and a Spy” (dir. Roman Polański, cin. Paweł Edelman).
