A budget without boundaries - how to find funding for a film in Europe

The Transatlantyk Festival in Łódź invites young producers and directors who already have their first experience in finding funds for film production to participate in workshops.

Amra Bakšić Camo (film producer, head of CineLink) and Irena Strzałkowska (Polish representative at Eurimages) will talk about the possibilities of obtaining funds for the development, production and post-production of a film at festivals, film markets, industry events and within the framework of European Union programs.

Icebreaker: closed film workshops taking place for the second time, addressed to directors and producers. Each edition has a different theme related to practical activities on the film market. This year, the selected participants will learn the secrets of Film Financing. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, they will learn how to obtain public and private funds for the development and production of films, finance international coproductions and assess the market potential of their projects. They will also learn the key activities at the stage of development and participate in assertiveness training.
