"Bless You!" wins at 68th Berlinale

The animated film Na zdrowie! (Bless You!) by Paulina Ziółkowska, co-financed by the Polish Film Institute received a Special Mention at 68th Berlin International Film Festival.

Special Mention for Na zdrowie! (Bless You!)

The animated film Na zdrowie! (Bless You!) by Paulina Ziółkowska (from the Film School in Łódź) was among the 16 short competition titles in the Generation 14plus section. The films in this section was evaluated by two juror groups: a youth jury (7 people aged 14-18) and a jury made up of professionals from the film industry (3 people).

The Jury, comprised of Felipe Bragança, Mark Rogers and Verena von Stackelberg, awarded the Special Mention to Na zdrowie! (Bless You!) by Paulina Ziółkowska.

“A very accomplished, poetic, lyrical and dense piece of art. Showing that bodies blend into the sea of humanity, individuality is not under our control – a sneeze can be a body snatcher” – reads the Jury statement.
