"Cold War" within EFP LA Screenings





On November 7-20, European Film Promotion (EFP) will present to the members of the American Academy, journalists and American distributors 25 European titles that have a chance to be nominated for the Oscar. The list includes “Cold War”.

Promotion of European cinematography

Projections of 25 films will take place in two locations: Dick Clark Screening Room and Laemmle Monica Film Center. The aim of the screenings is to promote a rich and diverse film offer of European cinematography and to draw the attention of Academy members to European Oscar candidates in the category of Best Foreign Language Film. In total, 87 titles apply for a nomination in this category.

“Cold War” screenings with the participation of artists will take place on:

  • Monday, November 12th – Paweł Pawlikowski, Łukasz Żal and Joanna Kulig will be present that day
  • Monday, November 19th – Joanna Kulig will take part in the screening.
