An exhibition on the works of Krzysztof Kieślowski is on display until October 24, 2015 in San Sebastian.

“Krzysztof Kieślowski. Signs and Memory” in San Sebastian

The exhibition is on display at Casa de Cultura Okendo in San Sebastian until October 24, 2015 and consists of several sections. The first of these is the “Krzysztof Kieślowski. Signs and Memory” exhibition, curated by Muzeum Kinematografii in Łódź and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. The exhibition also features film posters from around the world for films by Krzysztof Kieślowski and “Photographs from the City of Łódź,” a collection of photos taken by Kieślowski during his studies at the Łódź Film School.

Exhibition to Commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of Kieślowski’s Death

Muzeum Kinematografii organized this exhibition on Krzysztof Kieślowski in 2005, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of this acclaimed director’s passing. In 2006, the exhibition went on tour abroad, beginning with a showcase at Berlinale. To date, the exhibition has been made available to the public in a number of countries, including Italy, Singapore, Israel, Spain, Turkey, the United States, Hungary, Lithuania, and France.

Exhibition Supported by the Polish Film Institute

The “Krzysztof Kieślowski. Signs and Memory” exhibition is organized in cooperation with Studio Filmowe “Tor” and the “Skorpion” publishing house, and is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

The San Sebastian edition of the exhibition on the works of Krzysztof Kieślowski is organized by Donostia Kultura, Ayuntamiento de San Sebastian, Donostia/San Sebastian DSS2016.EU, the Polish Institute in Madrid, and Muzeum Kinematografii in Łódź.
