Film and Art Festival "Dwa Brzegi" in Kazimierz

The 2nd Film and Art Festival “Dwa Brzegi” (“Two Riversides”) in Kazimierz Dolny and Janowiec nad Wisłą opened on Saturday with a screening of the long-awaited film Unmoved Mover (Nieruchomy poruszyciel) by Łukasz Barczyk.

“The script has been emerging for two years,” said the author during a news conference. “I wrote four histories on the same topic. Only one of them I considered worth accomplishing. This is a story of the world of delusions, which is created by our desires.”

During the coming week there are a lot of surprises waiting for the viewers. There will be over 100 films screened, including several premieres, plus exhibitions, concerts, meetings with filmmakers and workshops. The festival will last until 9 August.

The event is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
