Złote Krople (Golden Drops)

Directed by Daniel Zduńczyk and Marcin Męczykowski, Złote Krople (Golden Drops) is a new Polish feature animation for a family audience. It is a universal story about childhood dreams and the power of imagination. Faced with their mother’s sudden illness, siblings Adam and Aneta decide to seek help where no one but children would ever be able to find it.

Traditional Animation and 3D

Złote Krople (Golden Drops) is a combination of traditional hand-drawn animation with computer-generated 3D imaging, produced at the Wrocław-based Virtual Magic studio using the latest AMD technologies that allow for a quick and effective rendering of animated images.

A Film Supported by the Polish Film Institute

The film was produced by Virtual Magic (specializing in 2D and 3D images) and ATM Grupa, and was co-financed by the Polish Film Institute and Odra Film.

Voiced by Polish Actors

The film was written by Andrzej Surmacz, Daniel Zduńczyk, Marcin Męczkowski and Wioletta Pomorska-Yang. The two main characters were voiced by Benjamin Lewandowski and Aleksandra Kowalicka, with a vast array of Polish actors voicing other parts, including Maciej Stuhr, Cezary Pazura, Andrzej Grabowski, Robert Gonera, Marzena Kipiel-Sztuka, Dariusz Gnatowski, Jarosław Boberek, Tomasz Kot, and Jerzy Kryszak.

Złote Krople (Golden Drops) is scheduled for a theatrical release in Poland this fall.
