At the first edition of the Valletta Film Festival, which closed on June 21, Janusz Gajos received the award for Best Actor for his performance in Małgorzata Szumowska’s BODY/CIAŁO. The festival’s top prize went to AN, a film by Naomi Kawase.

Another International Award

The Valletta award marks another form of international recognition for Gajos’ performance as a prosecutor in BODY/CIAŁO. Earlier this year, Janusz Gajos received the Best Actor award at the 20th Kino Pavasaris IFF in Vilnius. In Poland, Gajos also received the Best Actor award in the Polish Feature Film Competition at the Off Camera festival in Krakow.

Another Award for Hanna Polak’s Documentary
