"Little Moscow" in main competition at International Film Festival in Moscow

The film Little Moscow (Mała Moskwa) by Waldemar Krzystek has qualified for the main competition at the International Film Festival in Moscow, one of the top festival events in the world of cinema.


The screening of Little Moscow is set for 26 June, to be followed by showings in Russia, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.

The last award for Polish cinema in Moscow went to Krzysztof Zanussi. He won the Golden Statuette of St. George for Life As a Fatal Sexually Transmitted Disease (Życie jako śmiertelna choroba przenoszona drogą płciową) (2000), and the FIPRESCI Award for The Supplement (Suplement) (2002).

The festival will last from 19-28 June.
