Part 3 of Polish Film School on DVD goes on sale

Birth Certificate (Świadectwo urodzenia) by Stanisław Różewicz, Winter Twilight (Zimowy zmierzch) and Pills for Aurelia (Pigułki dla Aurelii) by Stanisław Lenartowicz, Eva Wants to Sleep (Ewa chce spać) by Tadeusz Chmielewski, and Answer to Violence (Zamach) by Jerzy Passendorfer can be found in the third volume of the DVD series “50 Years of the Polish Film School” (“50 Lat Polskiej Szkoły Filmowej”).


Each film is accompanied by a booklet with an analysis written by the best Polish film experts. The project was created at the initiative of and with funding from the Polish Film Institute. Best Film Co. is the publisher. All three parts of the series are available in Empik stores.

The fourth and last part will appear at the beginning of next year. It will contain five films: Mother Joan of the Angels (Matka Joanna od Aniołów) by Jerzy Kawalerowicz, Spring (Kwiecień) by Witold Lesiewicz, The Art of Loving (Jak być kochaną) and The Noose (Pętla) by Wojciech Has, and The Depot of the Dead (Baza ludzi umarłych) by Czesław Petelski.
