Poland at TIFFCOM Market 2009

The Polish Film Institute (PISF) will organise a Polish National Cinema Stand at the nearest film market TIFFCOM 2009.

The Institute will represent Polish producers, and present their film offer. TIFFCOM Market 2009 is accompanied by Tokyo International Film Festival.

The latest film Dom zły by Wojciech Smarzowski will be shown n this year’s competition at the 22nd Festival in Tokyo (17-25 October). It is a story that takes place in a hut in a secluded spot in Bieszczady. One fall evening 1978, an accidental guest comes to the hut and stays there for night. His arrival starts a course of tragic and unexplained events. For years later a police investigative group, during a local vision tries to entangle the mystery of events of that night…

Actors in the film are, included Arkadiusz Jakubik, Marian Dziędziel, Kinga Preis, Bartłomiej Topa , and Robert Więckiewicz. The film was produced by Film It and co-financed by PISF.
