Polish Cinema in Cuba Once Again

Nine new Polish films will be screened in the second part of a series of screenings of Polish films in Cuba (December 3-13, 2009).

The screenings will be part of the 31st International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana.

Audiences will have the opportunity to see Saviour’s Square by Joanna Kos-Krauze and Krzysztof Krauze, Louise’s Garden by Maciej Wojtyszko, All Will Be Well by Tomasz Wiszniewski, Tricks by Andrzej Jakimowski, 33 Scenes from Life by Małgorzata Szumowska, Sweet Rush by Andrzej Wajda, A Warm Heart by Krzysztof Zanussi, 4 Nights with Anna by Jerzy Skolimowski, and The Magic Tree by Andrzej Maleszka.

The first part of the series of screenings of Polish films took place in October 2009 and was warmly received by the audience.

The screenings are organized by the Polish Film Institute, the Polish Embassy in Cuba, and AP Manana.
