POLISH FILMS AT THE 21ST BUSAN IFF

The lineup of the 21st Busan International Film Festival features several films co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

Polish Films in World Cinema Section of Busan IFF

The lineup of 42 films representing world cinema in Busan features several works by Polish filmmakers. Festival audiences will have an opportunity to see Powidoki (Afterimage) by Andrzej Wajda, Zjednoczone Stany Miłości (United States of Love) by Tomasz Wasilewski, as well as a Polish-Turkish co-production called Clair Obscur by Turkish director Yeşim Ustaoğlu.

The Saint in Flash Forward

The Flash Forward section of the Busan IFF showcases films by first-time filmmakers from outside Asia. This year’s lineup features 35 films, including The Saint, a Polish-Lithuanian co-production directed by Andrius Blazevicus. The film’s Busan screening will mark its international premiere. The Saint’s Polish co-producer is No Sugar Films.
