Polish films at the 48th Tampere FF





Two Polish short films have been selected to screen in competition at the Tampere Film Festival, which runs from March 7 through March 11, 2018. This year the special guest of the festival is Poland.

Two Polish films were officially selected by the festival. Bernard by Anna Oparkowska was invited to the animation competition, and Karuzela (Carousel) by Patrycja Polkowska to the international competition Family Ties. Both films were co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

The festival will also host special programme presenting Polish shorts and animations. The audience will see:

  • Obiekt (Object) by Paulina Skibińska,
  • Ciepło-zimno (Hot and Cold) by Marta Prus,

  • Kobieta budzi się rano (Morning Has Broken) by Olga Chajdas,
  • Mały palec (Pinky) by Tomasz Cichoń,
  • Przyszły lata, idą zimy (Springs Have Gone, Winters Are Coming) by Karol Pałka,
  • Najpiękniejsze fajerwerki ever (The Best Fireworks Ever) by Aleksandra Terpińska,
  • Czerń (Black) by Tomasz Popakul,
  • Cipka (Pussy) by Renata Gąsiorowska,
  • Leaven by Artur Hanaj,
  • Sklep z rybami (Fish Shop) by Maria Kulpa,
  • Sprawa Moczarskiego (Moczarski’s Case) by Tomasz Siwiński,
  • Nie trać głowy (Don’t Lose Your Head) by Karolina Specht,
  • Ciało obce (Foreign Body) by Marta Magnuska,
  • Super rzecz (Super Film) by Piotr Kabat,
  • Leksykon myśli (Lexicon of Reflections) by Urszula Reszczyńska.

The following Polish directors of the presented films will be among the festival guests: Tomasz Popakul, Jakub Radej, Maria Kulpa, Anna Oparkowska, and also Marta Świątek from KFF Sales & Promotion.
