Polish films awarded in Estonia

Polish films co-financed by the Polish Films Institute were awarded at the 29th Pärnu International Documentary and Antropology Film Festival in Estonia.

Three awards for the Polish documentaries

This year Estonian festival awarded three Polish productions. Documentary Nadejdą lepsze czasy (Something Better to Come) by Hanna Polak received Estonian People’s Award – an award voted by the audience of Estonian television. Polish-Armenian co-production Pieśń pasterza (Shepherd’s Song) (Wajda Studio) received international jury prize for the best audiovisual portrayal. Niewidzialne (Invisible) – school film by Zofia Pręgowska from Warsaw Film School received the award for the best student documentary.
