Polish Screenwriters On Canneseries





Małgorzata Biedrońska and Agata Koschmieder, represented by Match&Spark, qualified for the prestigious Canneseries event.

Polish screenwriter Małgorzata Biedrońska got into the Canneseries residential program. A graduate of the Lodz Film School will spend 5 weeks in Cannes as part of an intensive script scholarship, during which the participants will develop a series project for the French Canal+. Only 8 screenwriters from all over Europe were invited to the program. More about this year’s program here.

In addition, the project of the series “The Tribe” by Agata Koschmieder was among the four finalists of DRAMA WRITERS ‘PITCH In Development as part of Canneseries.

The text of the Polish screenwriter has been selected from over a thousand entries and participation in Canneseries will enable her to obtain funding for production from the French La Fabrique des Formats.

In Development (Cannes Drama Creative Forum) is dedicated to the development and promotion of new international productions. The organizer of the Forum is MIPTV and Canneseries. Participation in the Forum enables the representatives of the industry to become acquainted with the most interesting international productions, which are currently being developed. The event will take place on April 5-10, 2019 in Cannes.
