Radosław Śmigulski Appointed General Director of the Polish Film Institute





Radosław Śmigulski will be head of the Polish Film Institute for the next five years. On December 7, 2017 he was appointed General Director of the Polish Film Institute by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage Piotr Gliński. Śmigulski will take office on December 8, 2017.

Radosław Śmigulski was one of two candidates recommended to the Minister of Culture and National Heritage by the commission designated to organise the competition for the general director of the Polish Film Institute.

Radosław Śmigulski graduated from the Department of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. In recent years his posts included head of the film agency of Telewizja Polska and general director at Syrena Films. He spent several years at Totalizator Sportowy as deputy marketing and sales director and member of the board.
