A Film About an Extraordinary Woman

“Marie Curie is the first such intimate portrait of this extraordinary woman. It will be the story of her joys and sorrows, her moments of triumph and failure not only in the world of science, but most importantly in her personal life. That is the angle we want to focus on to portray the previously unknown face of our protagonist,” says producer Mikołaj Pokromski about the film.

“My goal is to show the previously unknown human dimension of Marie Curie to the audiences. After seeing this movie, I would like us to remember Marie Curie not only as an iconic woman in the world of science or a Polish woman renowned around the world, but most importantly as an inspiring and strong woman, an exceptional individual on multiple levels; someone worthy of our admiration and in whose suit we would be well off to follow,” says director Marie Noëlle.
