“Sole”

Lena is seven months pregnant and she’s ready to sell the baby in her belly. Ermanno agrees to pretend to be the father. Fabio, the uncle of Ermanno, will pay them to buy the child that he and his wife Bianca cannot have. A fake adoption between relatives is a loophole, in Italy being a surrogate is forbidden. A world where money is the only value, the only thing that matters. Ermanno and Lena are two strangers who must pretend in public that they are a couple and live together until delivery. They are used to thinking about themselves and are fighting all the time. But living side by side, they become what they pretend to be.

Polish accents in the film

In addition to the Polish co-producer, other Polish artists were also involved in the production. The main role in the film was played by Sandra Drzymalska. The author of the music for the film is Teoniki Rożynek, and Michał Fojcik is responsible for the sound.

The description of the film “Sole” comes from the website of the Polish producer.
