Time to Die in Japan

Time to Die by Dorota Kędzierzawska and Arthur Reinhart had its Japanese premiere on November 23 during the European Film Festival in Osaka. After the festival screenings, the film will be shown in Tokyo and is to be released in cinemas.

Special guests at the Osaka Festival and the Tokyo screenings will be the film’s director and screenwriter Dorota Kędzierzawska and cinematographer Arthur Reinhart.

The film is distributed by Pioniwa Film, a company that had previously brought I Am, an earlier production by the Kędzierzawska-Reinhart duo, to Japanese audiences.

Time to Die has already been screened at almost 80 international film festivals on five continents and received 21 awards in Poland and abroad. After the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Japan is the third country where the film will be in regular theatrical distribution.
