Tomasz Wasilewski’s latest film is a Polish-Swedish co-production lensed by Oleg Mutu (cinematographer on Cristian Mungiu’s Palme d’Or winning 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days and Sergey Loznitza’s In the Fog). The film was produced by Mañana and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. World sales are handled by New Europe Film Sales.

Silver Bear Award for Best Screenplay at Berlinale

At the 66th Berlin International Film Festival, Tomasz Wasilewski – writer and director of Zjednoczone Stany Miłości (United States of Love) – received the Silver Bear Award for Best Screenplay. Creators of the film received awards at the Valletta Film Festival in Malta. The competition jury awarded the title of Best Director to Tomasz Wasilewski and Best Actress to Dorota Kolak.. Film received also awards at the 41st Gdynia Film Festival: Award for Best Director (Tomasz Wasilewski), Award for Best Editing (Beata Walentowska), Award for Best Costume Design (Monika Kaleta), Award for Best Supporting Actress (Dorota), Award for Best Supporting Actor (Łukasz Simlat).
