WINNERS OF THE 40TH GDYNIA FILM FESTIVAL

Winners of this year’s 40th Gdynia Film Festival were announced on September 19.

40th Gdynia Film Festival award winners:

• Golden Lions Grand Prize for Best Film: Body/Ciało (Body), directed by Małgorzata Szumowska
• Golden Lions Grand Prize for Best Film: Body/Ciało (Body), produced by Jacek Drosio
• Silver Lions: Excentrycy, czyli po słonecznej stronie ulicy (The Eccentrics. The Sunny Side of the Street), directed by Janusz Majewski
• Silver Lions: Excentrycy, czyli po słonecznej stronie ulicy (The Eccentrics. The Sunny Side of the Street), produced by Włodzimierz Niderhaus
• Special Jury Prize — for artistic originality and the prophetism of the dead pixel: 11 minut (11 Minutes), directed by Jerzy Skolimowski, produced by Ewa Piaskowska

• Award for Best Music: Paweł Mykietyn (11 minut / 11 Minutes)
• Award for Best Production Design: Jagna Janicka (Hiszpanka / Influenza)
• Award for Best Supporting Actress: Maria Semotiuk (Letnie przesilenie / Summer Solstice)
• Award for Best Supporting Actor: Wojciech Pszoniak (Excentrycy, czyli po słonecznej stronie ulicy / The Eccentrics. The Sunny Side of the Street)
• Award for Best Sound: Marcin Jachyra, Kacper Habisiak, Marcin Kasiński (Body/Ciało)
• Award for Best Editing: Agnieszka Glińska (11 minut / 11 Minutes and Intruz / The Here After)
• Award for Best Make-Up: Janusz Kaleja, Tomasz Matraszek (Córki Dancingu / The Lure)

Visions Apart Competition:
