"Out of Reach" at Sundance

The Sundance Institute announced the programme of short films selected to screen at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival. The list of 81 titles includes the winner of the International Short Film Competition at this year’s Krakow Film Festival – Poza zasięgiem (Out of Reach) by Jakub Stożek. This documentary film was produced by Darklight Film Studio, and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

The Polish short documentary will screen with five other films in the International Documentary Shorts section of the Sundance Film Festival. The other five contenders:

  • Grandpa’s Wet Dream, directed by Chihior Amemiya (Japan, USA)

  • Incident by a Bank, directed by Ruben Östlund (Sweden)

  • Negativipeg, directed by Matthew Rankin (Canada)
