Roman Polański Retrospective in Berlin

A retrospective of films by Roman Polański will run in Berlin from August 16 through August 25, 2013. The event is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

The retrospective, entitled ‘Happy Birthday Mr. Polanski’, will feature a number of films by the director, including Nóż w wodzie (Knife in the Water; 1962), Chinatown (1974), Rosemary’s Baby (1968), What? (1972), Tess (1979), The Pianist (2002), The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967), The Ghost Writer (2010), Repulsion (1965), Carnage (2011), Cul-de-sac (1966), The Tenant (1976), and Macbeth (1971).

Event Supported by the Polish Film Institute

Screenings will take place at the Babylon and Brotfabrik cinemas in Berlin. The retrospective of films by Roman Polański has been organized by the Polish Institute in Berlin and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
