Polish Animations at Cartoon Movie

The Cartoon Movie forum, scheduled to take place in March, has recently announced the lineup of this year’s edition. Among the 55 films presented at the Lyon event this year are five animated films made by Polish producers.M

A Co-Production Forum for Feature Animated Film Producers and Directors

The Cartoon Movie forum, organized annually in Lyon, is a co-production forum for the directors and producers of feature animated film projects. The forum team has selected the following Polish (or co-produced by a Polish producer) animated films:

• Bik i Bak (Bik & Bak), Paweł Dębski (produced by FUMI Studio);
• Diplodok (Diplodocus), Wojciech Wawszczyk (produced by Human Ark);
• Hot Heart Story, Anira Wojan and Grant Blaisdell (Polish producer: ARTEVISION);
• Myszy strajkują (Mice on Strike), Robert Jaszczurowski, Łukasz Kacprowicz and Marcin Wasilewski (Polish producer: Grupa Smacznego);
• The Magic Mountain, Anca Damian (Polish producer: Filmograf)

Cartoon Movie

Cartoon Movie, scheduled to take place in Lyon from March 5 though March 7, is a type of co-production forum for directors and producers of feature animated film projects. Throughout the three-day forum, filmmakers from across Europe present their projects at pitching sessions divided into four categories: (in concept, in development, in production, and completed projects). The upcoming edition of the Cartoon Movie forum will also be attended by approximately 200 film buyers and distributors.
