Polish Cinema Days in Romania

An event entitled Polish Cinema Days will be held in seven cities in Romania between March 22 and April 14, 2013. The event is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

Films Supported by the Polish Film Institute in Lineup

The lineup of Polish Cinema Days features six Polish films: Kanał (Kanal; 1956) by Andrzej Wajda, Prawo i pięść (The Law and the Fist; 1964) by Jerzy Hoffman and Edward Skórzewski, Psy (Pigs; 1992) by Władysław Pasikowski, as well as three films co-financed by the Polish Film Institute: W ciemności (In Darkness; 2012) by Agnieszka Holland, Kret (The Mole; 2010) by Rafael Lewandowski, and Róża (Rosa; 2011) by Wojciech Smarzowski.

Screenings in Seven Cities

The films will be shown in seven cities across Romania: Galați (March 22-24), Brașov (March 29-31), Timişoara (March 29-31 marca), Iași (April 5-7), Oradea (April 5-7), Târgu Mureș (April 5-7) and Cluj-Napoca (April 12-14). The Polish Cinema Days are organized by the Polish Institute in Bucharest and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
