Polish Docs at 5th DokuBazaar

Twelve Polish films have been selected to screen in the lineup of the DokuBazaar International Documentary Film Festival, which runs from September 30 through October 2 in Ljubljana.

DokuBazaar is an independent international non-competitive film festival dedicated to documentary filmmaking. The lineup of this year’s festival features a total of 32 documentary films, including twelve films made by Polish filmmakers:

• Sen o San Juan (Dream of San Juan), directed by Joaquin del Paso and Jan Paweł Trzaska;
• Gdzie jest Sonia? (Losing Sonia), directed by Radka Franczak;
• Życie stylem dowolnym (Freestyle Life), directed by Adam Palenta;
• Przeżyć Afganistan (Survive Afghanistan), directed by Małgorzata Imielska;
• El Sueño, directed by Jakub Łubniewski and Mikołaj Molenda;
• Punkt wyjścia (Exit Point), directed by Jagoda Szelc;
• Muzyki (Musics), directed by Agnieszka Gonczarek and Patryk Kizny;
• Mój dom (My House Without Me), directed by Magdalena Szymkow;
• Niebiańskie jezioro (God’s Lake), directed by Diana Aszyk;
• 18 kg, directed by Kacper Czubak;
• Niezależna Republika Samosiuk (Samosiuk – the Independent Film Republic), directed by Adam Lewandowski;
• 12 Sonda o kobietach (Survey About Women), directed by Mateusz Głowacki
