Two Polish documentaries received awards at the 8th DocsDF International Documentary Film Festival in Mexico City.

Awards for Polish Films

Two Polish documentaries are among the winners of the eighth edition of the DocsDF festival. First prize in the International Short Film category went to Niebiańskie jezioro (God’s Lake), directed by Diana Aszyk. The winner of the Documentary for Television category was Uwikłani (Entangled), a film directed by Lidia Duda and co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. This year, festival audiences also had an opportunity to see a retrospective of films by Lech Kowalski, and two other Polish documentaries: Mundial. Gra o wszystko (Mundial. The Highest Stakes) by Michał Bielawski and Gwizdek (The Whistle) by Grzegorz Zariczny.
