Polish Films at 3rd Open City Docs
June 20 will mark the launch of the third edition of the Open City Docs Documentary Film Festival in London. The festival lineup features several Polish films.
Open City Docs
Open City Docs is a film event dedicated to documentary filmmaking from around the world. The June festival is accompanied by year-round events promoting documentary films. The festival also features workshops, meetings with distributors, and masterclasses. Festival films will be judged by a jury that has actor Jeremy Irons and writer/journalist Anne Applebaum among its members.
The lineup of the Open City Docs festival features the following films from Poland:
- Moja Wola (A Dream in the Making), directed by Bartosz M. Kowalski (UK premiere; Moving Lives section showcasing six films from around the world)
- Rogalik, directed by Paweł Ziemilski (Hybrid Shorts: Experimental Short Docs)
- Gwizdek (The Whistle), directed by Grzegorz Zariczny
