Polish Films at Filmfest Hamburg

Obława (Manhunt) and Zabić bobra (To Kill a Beaver) are two Polish films that will feature in the lineup of the 20th edition of Filmfest Hamburg. The event runs from September 27 through October 6 in Hamburg.

Obława (Manhunt)

Directed by Marcin Krzyształowicz, Obława (Manhunt) is the story of corporal Wydra, an expert executioner, who seeks revenge for the mass murder of his underground army unit. It is also a story about the psychological consequences of a certain act of betrayal that will determine the lives of several people.

Zabić bobra (To Kill a Beaver)

Zabić bobra (To Kill a Beaver) by Jan Jakub Kolski is the story of a soldier returning home after serving a mission abroad. The film features a stellar performance by Eryk Lubos, for which he received the acting award at the Karlovy Vary film festival.
