Polish Films in Haifa

The lineup of the upcoming Haifa International Film Festival features several Polish films. The festival runs from September 29 through October 8, 2012.

Haifa IFF Lineup Features Films Supported by Polish Film Institute

The lineup of the festival features two international co-productions co-financed by the Polish Film Institute: Imagine by Andrzej Jakimowski and Igor i podróż żurawi (Igor and the Cranes’ Journey) by Evgeny Ruman. In addition to these films, audiences in Haifa will have an opportunity to enjoy Korczak by Andrzej Wajda and Zabić bobra (To Kill a Beaver) by Jan Jakub Kolski, a film that also received support from the Polish Film Institute.

Haifa International Film Festival

The Haifa International Film Festival is Israel’s largest film event, showcasing the most interesting and acclaimed recent films, as well as film classics in world cinema. Each year the festival features almost 300 screenings of films from 70 countries around the world.
