Polish Films at Warsaw Film Fest

Marcin Wrona’s feature Chrzest (The Christening) will screen in International Competition at the Warsaw Film Festival. Marek Lechki’s Erratum will screen in the 1-2 Competition for film debuts.

 

This year’s Warsaw Film Festival will run from October 8 to October 17. Other Polish films in the festival lineup include:

  • 50/50, a poignant documentary by Krzysztof Nowiński and Dominika Długokęcka, in the Free Spirit Competition;

  • Bad Girls. Cela 77 (Bad Girls. Cell 77) by Janusz Mrozowski, filmed at a women’s penitentiary, in the Documentary Competition (world premiere screening);

  • It’s All in the Fingers by Kei Ishikawa, Plama by Igor Chojna, and Twist & Blood by Kuba Czekaj in the Short Film Competition.
