Polish Films in Taipei

Several Polish films co-financed by the Polish Film Institute will screen in competition and out of competition at the 15th Taipei International Film Festival, which runs from June 28 through July 20, 2013.

Miłość (Loving) and Bejbi Blues (Baby Blues)

The New Talent Competition for films by first- and second-time directors features two Polish projects, both co-financed by the Polish Film Institute: Bejbi Blues (Baby Blues) by Katarzyna Rosłaniec, winner of the Crystal Bear Award at the 63rd Berlin IFF, and Miłość (Loving) by Sławomir Fabicki.

W imię… (In the Name Of…) and Nieulotne (Lasting)

Festival audiences will also have an opportunity to see W imię… (In the Name Of…) by Małgorzata Szumowska, winner of the Teddy Award at the 63rd Berlin IFF, and Nieulotne (Lasting) by Jacek Borcuch, winner of the Best Cinematography Award at the Sundance Film Festival (cinematographer: Michał Englert). Both films will screen in the Auteur Selection section of the festival.

Personel (Personnel)

The Taipei lineup will also feature Personel (Personnel) by Krzysztof Kieślowski, screening in the Panorama section of the festival.
