Polish Films Supported by Eurimages

Two Polish co-production have received support from Eurimages, the Council of Europe fund for supporting the production, distribution and exhibition of European films on the international scale. Both projects are also being co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.

Films that received Eurimages support:

  • Po śmierci (The Here After), directed by Magnus von Horn, produced by Lava Films Sp. z o.o. / Opus Film (Poland), Zentropa International Sweden (Sweden), Cinema Defacto (France). Total amount of support: 220,000 euros;
  • Jeszcze dzień życia (Another Day of Life), directed by Raul de la Fuente, Damian Nenow, produced by Platige Films (Poland), Kanaki Films (Spain), Walking The Dog (Belgium), Wueste Film GMBH / Animationsfabrik (Germany). Total amount of support: 500,000 euros.

Over the past weekend, the Council of the Eurimages Fund decided to grant financing to a total of 20 European co-productions: 14 feature films, 3 animated films, and 3 documentaries. The support for all 20 films amounts to a total of 6,100,000 euros.

 

In June 2013, Eurimages granted financial support to Słowo, a Polish-Danish co-production directed by Anna Kazejak. This project is also co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
