Fuck for Forest, the latest documentary film from Michał Marczak, is now in the hands of an international sales agent. Thanks to UK-based Dogwoof, theatrical distribution rights have now been sold for Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Norway.

New Film by Polish Director

Koniec Rosji (At the Edge of Russia), the feature-length documentary debut by Michał Marczak, screened and received awards at various international film festivals, including Hot Docs in Toronto and Visions du Réel in Nyon. The latest film by Marczak is a portrait of the members of the Fuck For Forest group, who try to combine their hedonist lifestyle with a programme aimed at saving the Amazon rainforest.

Screening in Cannes and at Polish Film Festivals

The promotional teaser for Fuck for Forest is currently being shown before screenings of the 9th Planete+ Doc Film Festival in Warsaw and Wrocław. It can also be see on Fuck for Forest‘s Facebook profile.The film’s world sales agent will present excerpts from the movie at the 65th Cannes International Film Festival. Audiences will also be able to learn more about Fuck for Forest at the film’s works-in-progress presentation that will be part of the upcoming 52nd Krakow Film Festival.

Dogwoof: Distributor of Hit Films from Around the World

Established in 2004, the UK-based Dogwoof distribution company focuses on promoting and distributing films of social significance, films that concentrate on human rights issues and depict important events in the contemporary world. Dogwoof distributes documentary films using digital media, the Internet, and DVDs. Fuck for Forest, co-financed by the Polish Film Institute, is also likely to be released theatrically in Poland this autumn. The film will be distributed by Against Gravity, a company that previously released Marczak’s first documentary on DVD.
